Meet Teacher Jaime

Hi, my name is Teacher Jaime and I teach the Kindergarten class at Desert Sun.  This is my 8th year at Desert Sun Child Development Center.  Throughout my teaching career I have also taught preschool and first grade. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. I am a state certified teacher with an early childhood endorsement and I am currently working on my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University.

I live in Gilbert with my husband Chris and three children Coral, 18, Dan 15, and Jake, 12.  Coral is a freshman at ASU, Dan is a sophmore at Mesquite High School and Jake is in 7th grade at Edu-Prize. Personally, I am a cheesehead from Wisconsin and am a HUGE Green Bay Packers, ASU and all around football fan!!

I love teaching Kindergarten at Desert Sun!  We have a fun, exciting and academic hands-on learning environment that I feel is the best around!
